We're still so young and desperate for attention..

Well to demand i'm updating lol. I did try to a few days ago but just as i'd started the summer madness part, my dad came in and demanded the computer, i was most put out -_-.

But anyways, time to get started for i haven't updated in quite a while and i've been doing a lot since then.

Firstly, summer madness. It was amazing. There was a few 1000 people there, so you can just imagine the atmosphere in the worship. They had these really popular christian bands (in the christian world i'm assuming because i'd never heard any of their songs before lol) playing, they were both really good. One was called Johny Parks and the others name i can't remember but i do remember thinking he reminded me a lot of Beulah's brother for some reason.
There was a lot of action in the worship, like when the music would start getting louder and/ or faster, people would start jumping up and down. The reason they did that was for pure happiness after being filled with the Holy Spirit or because they were trying to reach out to God - the latter being what i think the sticking your arm up means. Something i do not do. The jumping however i did, that was just fun, getting into the music and stuff and really just getting pretty damn hyper lol.

I was talking to a lot of people that normally i wouldn't talk to that much and met a few new people as well. One of the new people i met was Vicki Foye's brother who really is nothing like her at all. He's really quiet for one thingand you'd kinda expect him to maybe be into his appearance a lot but he's not, he was walking round in tracksuit bottoms. He's really nice.
I also hung out with Craig and Maxwell as well, who are really dead on guys and i like them both a lot. One night me, Nicci, Craig and Maxwell started talking in Irish accents and then Craig got out his guitar and we walked around the place singing songs from worship. It was named an Irish guitar walk lol...was quite interesting.
One day, Allie and Amy both came down and that was pretty cool. Allie came down earlier, so we hung out for a lot of the afternoon and i attended my first and only debate at summer madness. It was something about "all F-ing swearing is wrong". So a pastor ended up being "This house believes that not all F-ing swearing is wrong", so it was actually quite interesting the things he said to justify himself, being a Christian leader and all. His house actually ended up wining in the end, though it was a close call. Though i didn't necassarily agree with the things he said, he put his points through clearly and they were clearly well thought out, so i thought he deserved my vote. A lot of other people must've felt the same way.

On the last night of worship, the speaker guy told people to stand up for some reason (can't remember what) but he encouraged people to pray for them. There was a girl infront of our group standing up and noone had gone to her, so Iona suggested me and her go pray for her. So we were moving in that direction, when Emma Cook started crying. Scared me a bit. So we prayed for her and it turns out, she's decided to accept Christianity and is on her way to becoming a Christian. You honestly wouldn't believe how happy we all were, everyone is hugging each other, i was near in tears, Nicci actually was...waoh, what a class night.
Dez seemed a little scared by it all..he was kinda standing awkwardly off to the side, not really wanting to get involved with the crazy group of girls that he was with lol.

All the summer madness pictures from my camera are up on my bebo page, so go look and see the fun that we all had lol.

Going to go get my lunch now, so will write up France at a different stage.

Over and out!
